What is love?
After we changed Noam's diaper we offered him the (packed) poopy diaper so he can throw it to the garbage (as he usually likes to do). But he said Aya, Aya and refused to throw the diaper away. Instead he put it near him on the couch. We asked him if this is Ayellet's diaper and he said “KEN”.

Later on when we were trying to put his pajamas on, he refused as usual. I told him that Ayellet loves dinosaurs like the ones on his pajamas. He immediately agreed to wear it.

What's not where it is supposed to be?

Here is a clue: in this picture it is not on my hand anymore.

If mommy paid me 100 bucks a month I could teach her yoga too.

19 months! Closer to 2 than ever!

mmm... you got a new camera. I wonder how long it will take you to lose this one. Parents these days. How can you control them?

I put my sandals on myself and I don't want to hear about wrong foot. Its all social construction anyway.

Narratives instead of pictures (we cannot find the camera).

Josh and I have been trying for quite a while to have family dinners where the three of us sit and eat together, the same food. Today we realized Noam had had the same goal. And he succeeded in it. Our dinners of late consist of crackers with cottage cheese or cereal with milk. He doesn’t touch "our" food and he insists we eat his food together with him. I guess Formula is next for us.

Today, July 19th 2006, Noam participated in an anti-war demonstration for the first time in his life.

As a heat wave floods our area (it is about 30 Celsius degrees every day) Noam began enjoying the chilling wonders of Lake Anza in Tilden Park. Noam was fully absorbed by the combination of his three major loves: water, sand and baring his butt.

Noam and Ayellet are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Whenever they walk together they hold hands. And when Ayellet says “sleep”, Noam immediately lies on the ground in a "pretend sleeping" position. Even if it is in the middle of the street.

Noam discovered his looking-glass self. Today he offered his mirror image his sun- glasses and checked himself out with his shirt on his head, around his neck and over his face. In the evening, when he met himself again, he was extremely shy and buried his head in my chest.

Now that Aunt Marlene is in town we need to share a car.

I have to go somewhere to take care of business...

I saw the dogs do it in the corner.

Take me back to the water!

They were having a ball.

Now it's time for some lemonade.

When it comes to piano lessons I don't settle for less than a Berkeley professor.

I think I got a good grasp of it.

Daddy and I always get our shoes mixed up.

I see land!

Spiderman is back.

What? we got to go home?

Noam, sleep, said Ayellet. How could I refuse?

My first grilled cheese sandwich. You can see exactly how much I ate.
